SAL Marine Ltd was established in 1986 as an authorised service and sales workshop for Volvo, Honda, Suzuki, Nanni, Vetus and Ring, in association with Power Afloat Ltd and Marine Aid Ltd, based in Christchurch.
SAL Marine Ltd can supply all the marine engineering needs for the discerning boater which include; engine sales, service spares and repairs. We can carry out full engine overhauls, re-builds, new installations and also supply new and re-conditioned units. We also stock various re-conditioned units and some new outboard units.
We can carry out all types of electrical and electronic installations and repairs and we have the specialist equipment to diagnose, service and repair all computerised engines from Honda, Volvo and Suzuki. Our staff are fully trained by the relevant manufacturers in all aspects of marine engine and transmission repairs and servicing.
Power Afloat and Marine Aid Ltd are the sister companies to SAL Marine Ltd and between the three, can cover every aspect of marine repairs required from; stainless steel fabrications to grp repairs, rigging, to antifouling and, obviously, all marine engineering applications.
